The rector, Oludele Itiola, issued the order on Friday during the matriculation ceremony of 5,000 new students in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.
“Here at Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta, we shall not tolerate acts like indecent dressing. We don’t want to see you putting on what is known as wicked jeans or dresses that would expose your bodies.
“This advice is coming on the heels of a number of campus vices that are prevalent in higher institutions these days,” the rector said.
He stated further that any students found committing examination malpractices, cultism, fighting, stealing and other vices would not be spare from punishment.
“We shall not hesitate to show the doors if you are found culpable of these offenses as indicated in your student’s handbook.
“Indeed, that handbook should be like your Bible and Qur’an forthwith.
He reminded the students about their primary objective, which he said it is to obtain National and Higher National Diplomas.
