Swansea City have completed the signing of Mike van der Hoorn from Ajax, according to the Guardian.
The twenty-three year old, who has penned a three year deal with the
Swans after passing his medical has spent the last three seasons at the
Amsterdam club, having signed for them from fellow Eredivise outfit FC
Utrecht.
He played forty-nine times in all competitions for Ajax,
scoring four goals while internationally he made thirteen appearances
for the Netherlands U21s, scoring once.
The deal comes a day after the South Wales side signed fellow Dutchman Leroy Fer from Queens Park Rangers.
Fer spent the second half of last season on loan at the Liberty
Stadium, playing eleven times as Francesco Guidolin’s side ended the
campaign strongly to achieve a twelfth place finish.
The Italian is now preparing for his first full season in charge having replaced Garry Monk as manager in January.
